Performance Requirements

Commonly used materials:
EN8/45 Steel/C45: A medium-carbon steel with low cost and moderate strength after quenching and tempering, suitable for cylinders of small and medium-sized mining machinery (such as light crushers).
40Cr: An alloy structural steel with good hardenability, balanced strength and toughness, used for cylinders under medium loads such as hoist drums.
4140/EN19/42CrMo4: A high-strength alloy steel with excellent fatigue resistance and wear resistance, suitable for cylinder barrels of hydraulic presses and other components bearing high pressure and heavy loads.
