Composition characteristics: Magnesium is the main alloying element (Mg content is relatively high, typically 4.0–4.9%), with manganese (Mn) as the auxiliary strengthening element. It is a non-heat-treatable aluminum alloy, and strength is mainly achieved through solid solution strengthening and work hardening, offering excellent corrosion resistance, especially in marine environments.
