Pitch ring and yaw ring

The yaw bearing is used to drive the nacelle to rotate around the tower (for wind alignment), while the pitch bearing is used to drive the rotation of the blades (adjusting the pitch angle to control wind energy capture).  They are designed for long-term operation under conditions of low speed, heavy load, and intermittent motion.
